You have probably heard this statement way too many times in your life: “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”
But my question is — does skipping it really cause any side effects, or is missing breakfast as harmful as people claim it to be?
Nutritionists and doctors might say yes. But others who have been skipping breakfast for years may have a different take. You might feel more energized, notice better metabolism, or simply feel good after having a proper breakfast. However, skipping it does not necessarily lead to any immediate harmful effects — at least in the short term.
The whole point of why breakfast is called an important meal is because, as the name suggests, you are breaking the overnight fasting period of 8–10 hours. This meal helps the body replenish energy and absorb nutrients. Which also means breakfast should ideally be healthy — not junk.
Now comes the real challenge.
With the morning hustle in every urban home — trying to reach work on time or getting the kids ready for school — who really has the time to eat a nutritious and healthy breakfast, let alone make one daily?
One could argue that our mothers or wives used to make a healthy breakfast every day. So why is it that this generation finds even the simplest, most routine tasks difficult to fulfill?
Well, the world we lived in a decade or two ago is almost unrecognizable today. The pace of change has been extraordinary. Everyone is chasing dreams and building a career. And so, the concept of cooking a full-fledged meal amidst the morning rush is unthinkable for most men and women.
With intermittent fasting and other such trends gaining momentum, some people intentionally skip breakfast for various reasons. But let’s be honest — most of us miss it simply because we’re running out the door.
And what if this problem was addressed?
What if you only needed five minutes to make and consume your breakfast — or better yet, drink your breakfast?
Now, here is where things get interesting-
Imagine a drinking breakfast that provides essential nutrition while you sip it on your way to work. One which is healthy, rich in nutrition, meets your daily protein intake and you can have it in under 30 seconds. Sounds like a dream right?
Because in today’s world, breakfast shouldn’t slow you down — it should keep up with you.
So now, what’s really stopping you from starting your day right?
